The tire pressure sensor is part of a vehicle’s tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). If tire pressure is low, the yellow indicator light on your dashboard will appear. If the warning light comes on when all tires are fully inflated, or the tire pressure is low and the light does not appear, your TPMS could be malfunctioning. If ignored too long, under-inflated tires can lead to poor handling, loss of control, decreased fuel economy, and a greater chance of an accident.
